WP 3 – Initiating public debate on European Security

The first step in initiating the public debate on European security is to carefully select the participants of the process that will be involved and provide the input throughout the process. The European-wide participation and interaction will be facilitated by an e-platform that will also support the on-line Delphi. A kick-off workshop will be organised bringing together a core group of participants, around 150-200 people, to initiate public debate, to comment and validate the state of the art findings regarding threats and drivers to produce statements on security and security technologies to be used in the Delphi questionnaire.

The kick-off workshop to initiate public debate will be held in Vienna on 2-3 of July 2008.
